Role Summary/Purpose:
   
The Energy Storage Application Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales and engineering teams as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Application Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction

Essential Responsibilities
   
· Responsible for providing technical consultation and product support to the Commercial team in all phases of the commercial process
· Responsible for conducting in-depth, technical product presentations to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
· Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations, including creation of test procedures, definition of relevant regulatory requirements, installation, execution monitoring, and support of post-demonstration analysis
· Responsible for collaborating with the Commercial team and customers to identity business opportunities, define technical solutions, and convey customer requirements to the Product Management and Engineering teams
· Provide proposal support and take the lead in responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
· Collaborate with Sales Leader to develop and support action plans to exceed sales and margin targets
· Able to travel globally

Travel & Location:

Job description


TASKS

Through geophysical data interpretations, contribute to the appraisal of risks and technical issues related to the evaluation of new projects and the location of exploration wells.
Take part to seismic acquisition and (re)processing projects (seismic interpreter's input)
Participate to the integration of information deduced from geophysical data in geosciences studies, in the compliance with codes of practice.
Contribute to building/ updating the databases and knowledge bases of TOTAL.
Ensure the analysis, interpretation and synthesis of geophysical data.
Validate data (whether or not geophysical) used as input in interpretation studies
Contribute to the development of geological models within the framework of integrated projects
Ensure the archiving and on-going management of acquired information (reports, data management)
Take part defining the objectives of a study
Guarantee good interdisciplinary communication within the projects
Ensure effective external communication /Reports / Anticipation
Required skills

Education

Education in Geophysics (MSc , BSc )

Experience:
3 to 6 years in seismic interpretation would be a must

Skills:

With regard to the TEP NIGERIA subsidiary context, professional reliability and some autonomy are required.
The incumbent needs a good ability to work in a multi-disciplinary geosciences team, to communicate easily with other geoscientists and to be proactive.
The job requires constructive technical relationships, based on mutual confidence and respect within the team and with operation geology and geophysics, drilling dept and some of headquarters services (MTS, ISS).

3. Coordinates on a daily basis the work of the sampling teams in planning and executing the yearly sampling plan. Runs weekly sampling meetings and shares feedback on performance of the sampling teams, to ensure a high quality, effective sampling. Prepares the daily/weekly/monthly reports and reviews with the Regional Manager.
4. Monitors the implementation of the Company's supported sports and events activities by ensuring that the agreed activities, the functional & visibility material and any other required support are in place.
5. Maintains the POSM database by coordinating with distributor Sales force and merchandising team.
