Job Purpose/Scope
- This job exists to achieve GSK Sales (volume and value) and point of sale visibility objectives in assigned territory and to expand GSK business frontier in catchment areas within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Territory Sales team to achieve sales targets (volume and value) and customer relationship expectations
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to adapt trade programmes to the territory's reality
- Manage, train, inform and motivate Account Executives/Sales Officers/Partners Reps in order to deliver sales and distribution activities that are superior to the competition in respect of both core and added value services
- Develop and implement sales coverage plan for the territory to optimise reach across channels
- Responsible for new business development /expansion drive in territory.
- Drive the team's adherence to company process & procedures.
- Propose goals and set ASMART KPIs for direct reports and track performance.
- Identifying business opportunity and prospecting new Accounts based on commercial viability in designated areas within territory.
- Create and manage the territory wholesaler network.
- Champion Point of Purchase visibility activations in the territory.
- Manage engagement with local authorities, transport/ traffic agencies and other stakeholders to avoid disruption of GSK operations in the territory.
- Actively involved in anti-counterfeit surveillance.
Qualifications, Experience
- A good first degree.
- At least 4 years Field Sales experience in a FMCG or related company.
